Two Decades of Focused Development: Chuda Intelligent Innovates for Excellence

Chuda Intelligent focuses on mid-to-high-end intelligent equipment for daily-use glass, adhering to four development orientations: intelligent products, digital management, global branding and independent core technologies. It keeps innovating in glass forming machines, automatic powder batching systems, robot-based intelligent production units and complete smart production lines, emerging as a leading domestic supplier of premium glass container equipment and a national Specialized, Refined, Unique & Innovative "Little Giant" enterprise with over 90 patents and software copyrights. Recently, fully automatic production lines run steadily in the batching workshop of Shandong Pharmaceutical Glass Co., Ltd., with only two on-site operators. According to workshop director Chen Shengli, Chuda’s intelligent lines realize standardized pharmaceutical glass production, lifting efficiency and safety greatly. Thanks to smart equipment, on-site workers drop by 80% while production capacity doubles, shaping a new innovative landscape for daily-use glass industry.

Development from Jingmen to Global Market

From 2014 to 2016, Chuda attended overseas glass exhibitions for three consecutive years with nearly 500,000 RMB investment but secured no orders. The team persisted in global exhibitions across Germany, Russia and India to promote its brands and technologies. Orders started growing sustainably from 2017, with complete equipment shipped worldwide. Pronounced as "magic" in Russian, Chuda has cooperated with 5 Russian glass factories; India’s PIRAMAL Glass has purchased its production lines three times.

Growth Milestones

Founded in 2005 as Chuda Electromechanical, the firm built its Jingmen factory in 2006. Its workforce expands from less than 10 to over 400; total assets rise from under 5 million RMB to 370 million RMB; annual revenue exceeded 300 million RMB in 2023. Clients cover premium Chinese liquor brands (Moutai, Wuliangye, Luzhoulaojiao, Yanghe) and global packaging giants for Vodka, Brandy, L’Oréal and Chanel.

Deputy General Manager Deng Jiyun notes the firm’s growth stems from intelligent upgrading: motion control, simulation, bus control, robotics, machine vision and 5G+IIoT are widely applied. Self-developed servo variable-weight feeders, rotary intelligent bottle making machines and vision-controlled weight sorting enable mixed flexible multi-spec production and unmanned replacement in packaging & post-processing. Currently ranking No.2 in domestic daily-use glass equipment overall scale and No.1 for irregular bottle production equipment, its 8S &9S bottle machines cut energy consumption by 20% and boost product quality by 15% versus peer products.

Chuda takes the lead in introducing robots and machine vision into glass industry to realize flexible manufacturing via robot-centered intelligent workshop units.

Digital Management & Remote After-sales Service

Over CNY 10 million is invested on digital platforms: Dassault 3D R&D, PLM, ERP, CRM, WMS and MES connect R&D, procurement, production and sales to eliminate isolated data and build closed-loop finance & operation management. All daily operations shift online for contactless management and streamlined collaboration.

By integrating IT & OT via Digigit SRM cloud platform, Chuda empowers upstream suppliers with digital order, delivery and data management to cut overall industrial costs and refine supply chain control.

Backed by self-developed PaaS cloud platform and 5G+IIoT, engineers adjust parameters, program and debug equipment remotely without site visits. Average breakdown response speeds up by 50%, with troubleshooting shortened from 3–7 days to 1–3 days and higher client satisfaction.

Independent Core Technology as Little Giant’s Core Edge

Targeting five core technical bottlenecks in domestic glass intelligent equipment: intelligent forming control, boron-5 automatic batching, glass machine vision, dedicated robot application and 5G+IIoT industrial deployment, Chuda tackles industrial weak links. It achieved over 80 proprietary patents for bottle making, batching and robotic equipment, partnering with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Wuhan University of Technology for expert & doctoral workstations and industry-university-research bases. Its tech center is accredited as Hubei Provincial Engineering Research Center & Provincial Innovative Team.

Its self-developed rotary bottle forming machine sets domestic industrial standards; high-precision micro-weighing equipment solves key mixing challenges for boron-5 raw materials; irregular-bottle intelligent machines fill global technical gaps with over 95% domestic market share, helping the company break vicious internal competition and explore global markets.
